EXPOSICION DEL "ROYAL INSTITUTE OF PAINTERS IN WATERCOLOUR" 2019 -RI EXHIBITION 2019
La exposición del Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours de 2019, tendrá lugar en "The Mall Galleries" de Londres del 3 al 8 de Abril. A continuación me complace presentar mi contribución para esta esposicón.
The 2019 Exhibition of The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolor will be held as in previous years at "The Mall Galleries" inLondon from 3rd to 18th April. I am pleased to show mi contribution to the RI Exhibition.

"BLINDED"
Mi acuarela "ciegos" es la contribución que hice a la memoria de esta terrible escena de destrucción humana de la Primera Guerra Mundial. El gas mostaza se utilizó por primera vez durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, causando quemaduras químicas y ceguera permanente. El tema de mi pintura es de una conocida fotografía de una línea de soldados que han sufrido un ataque de gas.
My watercolor "blinded" is the contribution I made to the memory of this terrible scene of human destruction the First World War.
Mustard gas was first used during World War I, causing chemical burns and permanent blindness. The theme of my painting is from well know photograph of a line of soldiers suffering from gas attack.

Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours: ....Geoffrey Wynne RI who won The Anthony J Lester Art Critic Award for his wonderful painting 'Written in Dust, Resurrection'. Not surprisingly it sold on the first day, but do not despair their are two more in this series. Come and take a look at the over 400 paintings on show. Open daily 10am-5pm, closing at 1pm on the final day 21st April 2018. Mall Galleries, The Mall, London.

Geoffrey Wynne is also an elected member.
El pasado 26 de Enero Geoffrey Wynne RI en compañia de Joan Walley (antiguo Miembro del Parlamento por Burslen North) regaló la acuarela de "Middleport Pottery" en nombre de la gente de Burslem a su Alteza Real el Principe de Gales.
La acuarela original realizada en 2014 fué finalizada durante el proceso de las obras de restauración llevadas a cabo por iniciativa del Principe de Gales que salvaron a la antigua industria alfarera Victoriana.
El Principe es un cualificado acuarelista y miembro del Royal Institute of Watercolourists del cual Geoffrey Wynne es tambien miembro electo.
On the 26th January 2016 Geoffrey Wynne
RI along with Joan Walley (former M.P. for Burslem North) presented the
watercolour painting of Middleport Pottery on behalf of the people of
Burslem to H.R.H The Prince of Wales.
The original painting produced in 2014
was completed during the progress of the renovation works which saved
the Victorian pottery by The Princes Regeneration Trust.

CURSO DE ACUARELA POR GEOFFREY WYNNE, CARTAGENA, JULIO DE 2015

ACUARELA SELECCIONADA PARA LA BIENAL DE SHENZHEN - SELECTED WATERCOLOUR FOR THE ZHENZHEN BIENNAL
Ha sido un honor para mi conocer que mi acuarela "Globos" ha sido aceptada por el jurado internacional de la próxima Bienal Internacional de Shenzhen que tendrá lugar el próximo mes de Diciembre.
Han sido recibidas 2.825 inscripciones de 54 países, de las que solo 130 acuarelas han sido seleccionadas. Otras 130 acuarelas han sido seleccionadas de acuarelistas chinos.
Desde aquí quiero felicitar a Zhou Tianya, organizador de la bienal por su labor, así como agradecer a los miembros del jurado su destacada labor: David Taylor (Australia), Chen Jian (China), Shouxiang Liu (China), Lu Kong (China), John T.Salminen (EE.UU.), Thomas Plunkett (Reino Unido) y Andy Wood (Reino Unido).

CURSO TALLER EN SEVILLA - WORKSHOP IN SEVILLE
El primer fin de semana de Febrero estuve en Sevilla impartiendo un curso taller de tres días. Me quedé encantado con la ciudad y con el acogimiento de su gente, muchas gracias a la Asociación de Acuarelistas de Sevilla por invitarme.
